International admissions

Applications are made online through the international office's "Apply Now" form, uploading passport, diploma, transcript and photo. Accepted applicants receive a conditional acceptance/offer letter requiring a deposit payment uploaded to the application system; the offer letter is valid for one week and cannot be used for the visa application. After the deposit the university issues an official acceptance letter for the Turkish embassy, and enrolment is completed on campus with original documents, followed by a student residence permit application. Eligibility follows the standard Council of Higher Education categories, and the FAQ states that bachelor applications are accepted in the fall semester only.

• Online application through the Apply Now form (obs.ticaret.edu.tr/oibs/foa_app/), uploading passport, diploma, transcript and photo
• High school diploma, professionally translated into Turkish or English by a certified translation agency
• High school transcript showing courses taken each term, professionally translated
• Passport copy
• Two photos
• Acceptable proficiency score in the programme language (if any)
• Official acceptance letter (obtained from the International Office, with a copy presented at registration)
• Receipt of the first-semester tuition fee payment
• Deposit payment receipt — applicants who are citizens of Afghanistan, Pakistan and India must pay the first instalment of the programme fee as a deposit
• Originals of all documents must be presented at registration
• Turkish and 30% English programmes: B2 TOMER certificate
• Students who completed high school in Turkish need no Turkish certificate; students who completed high school in English need no English certificate
• Eligible/ineligible applicant categories are set out in detail on the admission page (foreign nationals and Turkish-origin candidates educated abroad may apply; Turkish citizens who completed secondary education in Türkiye or the TRNC may not)
• Bachelor applications are accepted in the fall semester only (FAQ); graduate applications in both fall and spring
